Errors sending email with Outlook 2002

Open Outlook.
Go to the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
Select View or change existing new e-mail accounts and click Next.

Select your email account and then click Change.

 |
Verify your name, email address, username and password in the appropraite spaces
Verify the incoming mail server name provided by opus in the POP mail server name field (i.e. mail.opusnet.com or mail.yourdomain.com if you have a hosted domain)
Verify the outgoing mail server name provided by opus in the SMTP mail server name field (i.e. smtp.opusnet.com or mail.yourdomain.com if you have a hosted domain)

Click on More Settings... then click on the Outgoing Server tab.
Put a check for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
Click OK and then click "Test Account Settings"
If all tests are successful, click Next and then Finish
