Setting up Email Rules in Outlook Express
You have the ability to determine how Outlook Express handles your incoming mail. By using message rules, you can have Outlook Express perform actions such as moving a message to another folder, forward the message, or delete it. These actions are based on conditions such as who sent the message, who it was sent to, or if there are any key words in the message.

Start by opening Outlook Express.
Click on Tools, select Message Rules, and click on Mail.
In the first selection, you will slect the Conditions for you rule.
For my condition, I selected Where the Subject line contains specific words. In order to specify the words I want to search for, I click on the link contains specific words.

Then Add the words to search for to the condition and click OK.
Then in the second sections, select the Action to take when the message meets the condition chosen. You will see a description in the third section of what your rule will do. In the fourth section, name the rule with something descriptive and click OK.
In the Message Rules window, the new rule is now listed, with a check mark in front of it that indicates it is active. You can continue to add more rules or click OK to exit this window.
