Configuring the Gnet ADSL 0060 for special NAT set up.
If you need to have the Gnet ADSL 0060 allow certain traffic through the NAT, (for applications such as HTTP, FTP, POP servers, or special program specific connections) you can configure the NAT to pass these connections through.
In a browser window, go to http://192.168.7.1.
At the System View page, click on the Services tab.
Click on the link for NAT and in the NAT Options, select NAT Rule Entry.
Click on the Add button.
  1. For Rule Flavor, select RDR.
  2. Rule ID is an identifcation number for the order the rules will be processed. Lower numbers are higher priority. It is best to increment numbers by 5 or 10 incase an additional rule needs to be added at a later time.
  3. IF Name is the interface for the incoming traffic, select ppp-0.
  4. Protocol is the type of packet that will be processed, your selection here is based on the type of packet you are expecting.
  5. Local Address From and To, this entry will indicate the LAN IP address of the server/computer on your side of the NAT that will be receiving and sending the data you are making the rule for. The example shown is using 192.168.7.150 and the assumed server is configured with the same IP address. The Gnet is configured with LAN IP addresses from 192.168.7.150 to 192.168.7.200.
  6. Global Address From and To, this entry referes to the IP address from the WAN side of the NAT that will be establishing the connection. Leave these entries as 0.0.0.0 for unrestricted access.
  7. Destination Port From and To and Local Port, these should all be the same setting. You can use the menu list to select well known ports, or you can select other port and enter the port number in the box to the right.
Click Submit then click Close when the confirmation window appears.
Click on the Admin tab and then click on the link for Commit & Reboot.
Click on the Commit button.
After the commit is confirmed, click on the Reboot button
