Setting up Port Forwarding on your Actiontec modem.

Open a browser window and browse to 192.168.0.1.
|

On the main menu screen, select Setup / Configuration.

Click on Advanced Setup on the left side of the screen.

Click on the Begin Advanced Setup button.

On the left side of the screen, select Port Forwarding.
|

 |

 |
Enter the IP Port Range needed to be forwarded to your computer.
Select either TCP or UDP protocol as determined by the program to be used.
Enter the IP Address that you will be assigning to your computer that is to be accepting this connection.
Click Add.

If you require a more secure connection rule, you can click on the Advanced button and specify the Remote IP Port Range and/or Remote IP Address you want to allow to make this connection.

Click Save and Restart in the lower left corner of the screen.
You can now reconfigure your computer for use with your static ip that you specified in the rules.
